Demilitarising Finance: a Walking, Talking and Singing Tour of the IFSC (Video)
22 June 2026
As part of Culture Night 2025, Financial Justice Ireland collaborated with AFRI to host Demilitarising Finance: a Walking, Talking and Singing Tour of the International Financial Services Centre, Dublin.
As our video shows, we explored how the city's financial district is complicit in militarism, fossil fuels, tax injustice, and genocide.
We used our tour as an attempt to forge new paths forward, asking: what if our economy were organised around care, community, and solidarity instead of profit and war? As Audre Lorde reminds us, “Without community, there is no liberation.”
We were very lucky to have Rachel Dempsey of Full Circle Change to facilitate group singing on our tour. https://fullcirclechange.ie/
