FJI are seeking facilitators, educators and activists with a passion for economic justice to help us bring our flagship 'Econowha?' economics & financial justice evening course outside Dublin and reach people across the country.

To meet this objective, we have established a 'Training of Trainers' initiative, combining training in economic justice education, facilitation skills and, if successful, an opportunity to join a pool of regional economic justice educators consulting with Financial Justice Ireland.  We require applicants who:

  • Have previously completed, or can complete in September 2020, FJI's "Econowha" evening course for adults
  • Are available to attend two additional training sessions focussing on education and facilitation for economic justice in Autumn 2020;
  • Can demonstrate experience/enthusiasm (professional or voluntary) for facilitation, education and/or community activism
  • Are based outside the greater Dublin area

For those who take up this opportunity, the usual 'Econowha?' fee of €50 will be waived, and all additional training and mentoring is free. Successful applicants must commit to joining a pool of consultant regional facilitators. FJI will draw on this pool to run multi-week sessions of Econowha? outside Dublin in 2021, and the pool may also be used to fill other opportunities as they arise into the future.
