Demilitarising Finance: a Walking, Talking and Singing Tour of the IFSC
19 September 2025

This Culture Night, discover Dublin’s Docklands as you’ve never seen them before. Join Financial Justice Ireland, in collaboration with Afri, for a participatory walking tour that blends protest and performance, spoken word and live music.
Together we will uncover how the financial district is complicit in militarism, fossil fuels, tax injustice and genocide. But this is also a space of resistance and imagination. At the same time, we will forge new paths forward, asking what it would mean if our economy were organised around care, community, and solidarity rather than profit and war. As Audre Lorde reminds us, “Without community, there is no liberation.”
Featuring a wide range of acclaimed speakers, poets and musicians, this is not a tour to simply attend but one to join. Expect to walk, question, and sing.
The full programme of contributors will be shared shortly on our website & AFRI.ie
The path to care and solidarity is made by walking it. Join us!
