Teacher Training: How the World Works - bringing global justice issues into your classroom
1 October 2019
Tackling economic inequality is essential to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals but it can be difficult to make it accessible for students.
This workshop will introduce teachers to activities that can be used in the classroom to begin exploring issues of economic inequality through looking at how the economy connects us in Ireland to people and communities all over the world and the impact that this has for sustainable development.
The workshop will introduce teacher to activities and methodologies from our How the World Works resource. A hard copy of this resource will be given to each participant.
This workshop will be relevant for teachers of development education modules, CSPE, Business Studies, Geography or for any teachers looking to bring a global justice perspective or active learning methodologies into their teaching.
We have a limited budget to cover substitution costs, if necessary. If you require substitution cover to attend this workshop please email Deirdre (email@example.com) to request it in advance of the workshop.
