The Economics of Happiness workshop

23 March 2019

International Day of Happiness takes place on 20th March. Since 2013, the United Nations has celebrated the day as a way to recognise the importance of happiness in the lives of people around the world.

Join us on Saturday 23rd March as part of International Happiness Week to reflect on the links between our economic system and happiness.

This workshop will explore the impact of our current economic system on inequality, the environment and our well-being. Based on the Economics of Happiness film, the workshop is based around the ideas of ‘resist and renew’ - throughout the workshop we will explore ways to resist the damaging impacts of the economic system, as well as renewal actions focused on building and strengthening local alternatives.

Lunch will be provided.

When: Saturday 23rd March
Time: 12-4pm
Where: Comhlámh, 12 Parliament Street, Temple Bar, Dublin 2
